I know a lot of people dont want to give out sold high 9 combos but i would like to build it right the first time thanks to all in advance
i have 1987 hard top gn
all h&r rear susp
tzr front control arms
ta girdle w/ 33 spline axles c-clip elems 3.42 gears

109 block .030 over
forged pistons
rjc girdle
2 billut mains
comp 212/212 roller cam
gn1 heads
t&d roller 1.55
champion intake
62 mm throttle body and dog house
85 lbs injectors
new ta front cover
3" down pipe duel 3" exaust

no trans
no conv
no turbo

anything still can be changed motor is still on the stand

all help is appreciated
do i need ext down pipe?
 
I recommend a th400 if the car is more of a track car. The converter should be bought from someone that knows the Buick v6 turbos. For the turbo, a 70-71 gtq, hpq or equivalent will do ya good. You can go smaller but imo a 70 will make it easier if the combo is off a little.
the 3" dp with the stock wastegate setup will be fine.

In my experience, you will need about 136-7 MPH trap speeds and at least a 1.5 60'. Probably will need at least 25 lbs of boost depending on how well everything you got works together. Sounds like you are on the right track.

My old combo went 9.6's with sub par 60's on unprepared track surfaces during test and tunes.
