High RPM

its a stock 87 gn before i pulled the started pulling the turbo/intercooler and waterpump the car idled good. now i have it together and it idles at 3k. I checked for vaccuum leak which i didn't find. Did any of the sensor go bad?. What sensor control the idle. Ive swap the computer and iac. and still the same. what should i check?

Check Idle Air control valve and Throttle position sensor.

Do a search for IAC reset procedures and you want your TPS set between .42 and .46

You still have to re-learn idle when you swap IAC's. TPS also a culprit.
Do as described above and you will find your idle.
