I got this put in today, installed it just like the OE starter, with the positive cable and the 2 fusable linked wires onto the empty B terminal, and put the un-fused ignition wire to the spade S Terminal. I went to hook up the negative battery cable to the battery and the starter engages! Do i need to wire it remotely? or the fusable wires are grounding somewhere? Does anyone use this starter? :(

I didn't know you could use that chevy 350 starter on a 3.8.

I'd have to say either the solenoid is faulty, or the wires from the positive battery terminal on the starter decided to migrate over to the S terminal when you tightened it down. Or vice versa.
