holding gears, shifting when it shouldn't...any ideas?

So while driving after the cars all warmed up and a few WOT runs, my tranny will begin shifting weird, we know its not the TC because just changed it, but while driving from a stop it shifts through all gears way to early and goes right into O/D ex. when it should be in 2nd it will shift through all the gears firm and very hard till it hits 4th o/d, then while stopping I can feel it holding the gears for a long time before downshifting, any ideas?? Also while shift it slams into the next gear EXTREMELY hard, can hear metal moving or something that shouldnt be!. Also I was wondering what some peoples thoughts are on Arizona GN and rebuilding tranny's cause more that likely thats where it will be heading to, I'm open to any suggestion for other shops in AZ!
