Home Gas Leak!

TB BROTHERS, If you have GAS heat or Hot water.
Check them pipes & joints.

My nagging wife actually saved us by calling the gas company
to come detect any leaks. Free of charge they do this.

Any way the collar to my hot water heater busted & gas was
spewing at a good rate into the cellar.
Of course I am denser than an OAK tree & couldn't smell it.
Must be all those years driving with Cherry bomb header mufflers
leaking into my GTO. that I can't smell stuff anymore..

Most of the Carbon Monoxide detectors that you can buy at a Home Depot or Lowes or whatever, will also detect gas, and if you have a digital readout, it will show you how many PPM are present. Good thing to have, and hope you never need it.

Just so you dont feel so bad,,Natural gas is oddorless,,they add that smell so our wives have something to do...
