Homeboy industries is right down the street from my work, lots of gang members down there. Didn't know to much about the place but what from what i know they where trying to get these kids/adults to turn there lives around. anyways they where cleaning all the windows yesterday and there was still stuff inside.

I had a few tats removed by them years ago. They kept the Homegirl Cafe open and the tat removal service going. Most of the people who remain there are working as volunteers now. This place helped a lot of people straighten up who thought that the only thing out there was gangbanging and jail.
