Honda Del Sol owned last night

Well I have not had the ole buick out of the driveway much lately because of work and playing with my new LS1 so I decided last night to gas her up and run her to the car wash. After I finished that I went out cruzing for a while and passed a local Burger King a popular ricer hangout and picked up a red Del Sol that pulled out on to the higway. We both wound up catching each other at the next light side by side, The 2 guys were very cool and were giving me props on my car they new it was a v6 and was turbo and not a Monte so as the light gets ready to turn he starts reving the sound of a fart can and intake struck fear into my heart so I figure why not, I did not even bother to give it a good hard boosted launch I just nailed it when she went green and spun of course that little honda jumped close to 2 car lengths infront of me while I sit spinning , after I hooked up I gained on him fast hit second hard spining again while passing him, At a quick glance over the passenger was looking with a "Wholy $hIt look on his face" once I got out of second I was fine and his headlights were several car lengths behind me so once again we hit another light and the guy gives me thumbs up and says "That thing is mad crazy" I smiled and said thanks and asked them if they wanted to run again and the kid just shakes his head and says hell no Just thought I would share no major competition or bad attitude just a lill ricer ownage, kid was cool though.

I think that some kids who know what a TR is try to bait you into running just to see you go. I'm sure they appreciatted the show.

Yeah, I would bait you just to hear that turbo whine; you sure don't hear it every day, at least not in my town.

They knew what it was, they probably knew they probably wouldn't win too. Maybe they'll be new recruits eventually, you never know. =) Hell, if I had an oppertunity to race one in my sh!tbox I would, as stated you don't get that kinda show too often! On the topic of turbo whine, I go into a daydream near every time a Diesel goes by =)

The DelSlow got two car lengths on you? I assume you let him.

You'd probably beat him better with a nice smooth acceleration, no tire spinning, about 8 psi.

With gas prices the way they are, I don't even waste gas or tread on Hondas.
