Hey guys, just looking for the honest goods and bads about locking converters. Im building a new motor for the car now, and am tryin to decide if I should go back to locking or just have mine restalled?? Mods are in the signiture, additional will be a 70GTQ and a 250cid stroker, any input would be nice, Thanks, Ryan

I have a Precision Vigilante lock up and love it for my 99% street car.

I would definately recommend a lockup TC if in fact you're going to be doing that much street driving compared to track time!!!
The fuel mileage difference will pay for it.

I do alot of freeway, I drove it alot lastyear without a locking converter, So I suppose I should be looking at a 9-11 converter or something of that nature? Im curious if I can get a 911 that stalls around 3800 or so? Guess ill be putting my non locking for sale!

Yes, I got one at 3700 stall with a GTQ71, works GREAT!
