Ok guys I recently purchased a 87' GN and basically regasketed the entire engine. It had some leaking issues when I bought it and I really did not get to drive it.This is the first GN i have owned and was wondering if you guys might know the HP potential and possible 1/4 mile times it might be capable of.It has stock heads and bottom end stock exh manifolds cold air intake with large K&N, 58 or 60mmTurbonetics turbo can't quite get a accurate measurement lol it also has an external adjustable wastegate,3" down pipe with no cat and dual exhaust 42 lb injectors. I know there are a lot of variables but just wondering what she might do at the track when shes all back together.

With good gas and as much boost it will make if it's a small turbine you will be able to go about 118mph in the quarter before you are out of fuel. You would need a lot more stuff to go that fast. With what you posted on 93 octane 13.30-13.50 with decent traction would be considered normal. About 280hp.

It also a .82 ar turbine housing found that out from the part # on the housing.when it is back in the car I'm going to dyno it with 112 octane and 93 is it possible to have a chip made with two different tunes on it? Once again I really know nothing about these cars electronic limitations.would like to run 112 at the track and 93 on the street.

There would be need for different tunes on both fuels. Youre probably looking at 100whp difference between and 18psi/17* tune and a 26-27psi tune/22*. You can have the chips burned to force lock up at a given mph and get more who out of it. Turbo tweak has very easily adjustable chips that will suit you well. You bees to have everything up to par if you want to make power. Tighten the plug gap to .030 and make sure your coil and wires are good. Make sure you fuel pump is enough.
