Hooked up 7th inj now tach doesnt work

Hey guys,I just hooked up a reds 7 th injecter and hooked it up as the insteructions say and took it for a ride and when I did the tach was back and forth.After I was able to stop the tack reads ,only 1 bar ,but when i take off itseems to start to work but not as norm as like its laging behined. Its driveing me nuts!Never had this problem.Did I fry something?Is therte something I can do?I want it to work.and no the green plug isnt plugged in.??

I have never seen Red's setup but did you have to splice into anything behind the alt? Like the Fuel Pump Prime Lead? If so then I would bet you got hold of the Tach lead rather than the Fuel Pump Prime lead. HTH
