hooker cat back question???

In the paperwork I recieved with it it says that it is not emissions legal in california. Am I going to have to swap my stock catback every time I need to get the GN smogged?? Is this something that will fail the visual automatically??
Is the aftermarket cat back an area of non concern like the cold air kits??

Since the EGR system on most TR is not dependent on exhaust back pressure, then you may perform any exhaust modification after (or beyond) the catalytic converter. So the hooker cat-back system is technically legal.
