installed smc kit today i placed the nozzle in the side of up pipe instead of under because i would have had to be about 4" from hose instead of 2"? also had alot of smoke i mean alot !!! it was light colored like burning oil (HELP)!!!.

That nozzle location should be fine. I run run two nozzles... neither in the "prescribed" location from Steve.

As far as the smoke... not sure what to tell you. Could be coincidence? Did the smoke clear up?

Smoke? You might be burning of some deposits...Let us know!
