HorsepowerTV coverage of the GS Nats

Just thought I'd let everyone know, we talked to Joe Elmore, the host of Horsepower TV at the Nats and their coverage should aire sometime around the 3rd week of July!!

A friend of mine talked to Dennis Gage and the My Classic Car crew, they didn't have any idea when their coverage would aire, could be as late as next year sometime he said.

Too bad Dennis Gage is such an elitist. His show has alot of nice cars on it but he's not much different than Joan Rivers: a yapping dog getting between everyone's legs at a backyard party. He can't even pitch products without Sam Memmolo to explain how they work. Joe Elmore seems like a nice guy.

Joe was very cool and seemed to enjoy talking to folks out there. We talked for a while, he was asking my wife if we had a Buick and where we were from etc.. When we said the Dallas area, he said he had just been in Dallas earlier that week at some paint shop for one of their project cars getting some type of wrap around paint job from some nationally known painter. Dennis on the other hand...you could tell he was getting irritated at people coming up to him and yelling at him when he was on the side lines.

I was watching while Dennis Gage was filming a 1986 GN in the circle track area. The car was clean and had aftermarket rims.

He spent a lot of time with the owner of the car and seemed to have a genuine interest in what he was saying.
I overheard the GN owner mentioning production #'s to Dennis and other tidbits.

I snapped a few pics of him to show my wife back home and would have paid more attention but I was drooling all over a 2-tone blue Limited T.

hehe, that was my buddy's car, Victor. The only 2-tone blue one that I saw there....and its in mint condition to boot! There were folks leaving notes or gathered around it in the parking lot all day.

Dennis Cage don't give one sh!t about turbo Buicks. They are not old enough for him. We brought 24 turbo Buicks, a gnx, and Gsx, all to a show because he was taping a show there and to meet him and to show him a huge showing of Turbo Buicks. When was the last time you saw 24 plus turbo Buicks lined up?!? He was asked several times to come check out the turbo buicks and didn't! He would not even come and look at them and see them! He was asked (and his crew) 4 times and nothing. That guy can eat sh!t and die in my book.. shame I was'nt at BG this year.. I would have walked up to him and shaved off that stupid mess on his face!

Jim, calm down now; your gonna get your blood pressure all raised up. Anyway, I remember that show, August at Kahunaville if I remember correctly. Yeah we had GNX, a GSX, multiple GNs (12 or so at least), and two WH-1 Regals as well. Gage didnt come back and see the cars or talk to us.

That old guy can go and play with his mustache for all I care!!

ok ok SLOW_Jack I took my meds now I just want to kick that freak Cage in the balls I work in TV and got talking to some of his crew later on and they even told me he's a d!ck off camera. Let him play with his steam power garbage and he can stay away from the turbo Buicks for all I care!

I wished I would have. I thought about that after we had already walked off from talking to him.
