Noobie Here. I am the mists of a turbo Buick Cutlass project. I have a complete running 85 GN with 120K on the clock. Been a garage queen with lite driving for the last 17 years. Runs great and I have personally withnessed this mostly stock hot air car run 13.0 at Atco in NJ.

Back in 2001 I sold my worked 87 GN to purchase our first home. I manged to hold on to the complete spare engine, computer, wiring harness ect that I had since then. The 87 motor had 67K or so when pulled. I have properly stored it abd it still turns free.

My question is weather I should run the HA set up as is, or swap over the intercooled engine. How much easier is it going to be doing it now vs. later? Money is tight right now since I lost my job back in Feb. Thanks in advance for your input.

Jake

Put the IC setup in and sell the HA stuff to fund some of the project.
