does anyone know what stock time the hot air engines run? about how much do these engines go for on the market? Do any aftermarket vendors make seperate intercooler kits for them?

From idle on a hot day 16.0@87 best 15.4@89, however
a cooler day and better 60 foot time you may dip
into the 14's (this is stock).

hmm so it would be worth it to just go ahead and get the 86-87 lc2 huh? are the trannys the same?

Alot of it depends on the difference in price you can get the two at. I personally seem to think the costs of upgrading a hot-air are higher than most people do.

take a look atthis thread

Not to be a cheesy salesman or anything, but our testing has shown this setup to flow better than 86-87, and the intercooler setup shouldget ironed out this weekend.
