Went to Wal-Mart tonight to feed my addiction. First stopped at the hotwheel section and found 4 GN's, then moved down to the larger die-cast and found the big car. THe wife came near and told me that I am sick and to come along. We left that aisle and then saw a 6' wide 7' tall wall of nothing but Hotwheels. She told me to go ahead. After a few minutes she was digging through them helping me get them all. I think I did ok.

Very nice. Maybe I'll go shop around if I'm bored tomorrow. Only have 1 or 2 Hot Wheels so far, it would be fun to come across a bunch.

I love the new packaging on the hot wheels. You just look down each row, matching the color and number in the top right.
I too have this sickness. The "excuse" is that it's for the boys. I then take them home and put them on the top shelf in my office. Of course the boys have their own, but those have been opened and run through dirt.

Since knowing that Hot Wheels was gonna release GNs this year, I've check every K-Mart, Wal-mart & Walgreens in my area but I always came home empty handed. Well, my luck just changed this past Saturday when i found 1 of those two tone GNs @ Walgreens ! 
I just pillaged the local Wally World. Found 5 if the silver ones. Front of package says Buick Grand National and the back of the package says only 547 were made which makes them very rare. I would say the silver GN is more rare than a GNX. Why can't they get this stuff right. I saw some of the green ones @ Target but I couldn't bring myelf to buy a green GN.

I picked up several of the DONK cars and ones like them. My sister in-law has been going to these dollar stores and finding lots of DUB City cars there.
I do have this really cool DUB City set that has three TRs in different stages of the painting process.

No, they are the same as the silver ones, but they have puke green/ vomit yellow paint. The silver ones are from the new models series - #10 of 34 or something like that and the green ones are from the revealers? series like the ones jpratt got. I probably could have picked those up too but I already had the silver ones and I'm not a collector. I just thought they would be cool to have. I already gave two of them to my neighbors kids

Sometimes I'm tempted to get into collecting the cars but I tell myself if I leave them on the store shelves there's a better chance of a kid finding it and ending up having his favorite toy be a GN.I had to explain to them why the engine was incorrect and that there were actually no silver GN's. I guess the engine is the twin turbo callaway 'vette motor. Looks pretty cool but is way wrong. You wonder why people are so confused about these cars. Silver twin turbo GN/GNX?
