I also tried them today and they were cheaper than elaon.com on interest and fees.

Has anyone used either one of these companies to re-fi a house?

Thanks in advance.

My note was sold to them, so far no problems.

Thanks Krom

I appreciate the input.....:)

My mortgage is with them too. No problems except for having to write that hefty check every month.:D

Don't know about re-fi'ing with them though.

I've had several mortgages through Countrywide. Always had great service from them, even when it came time to refi.
I haven't been able to prove or disprove it one way or another but I tend to think their closing costs may be a tad higher than some.
But I still use them.

Might also want to check with GMAC (they also own Ditech). I did a refi with them and it cost me zero, zip, nada. Closing costs were also among the lowest for the first as well. www.gmacfs.com

I have Countrywide for mortgage and equity loans and have refied with them. No problems.
