Prices on mechanical VDO guages are pretty cheap, im filling in my guage cluster now. I wanted to know whats the most accurate for the best price. Im using all mechanical except rpm and speedo.

thanks in advance

All my gauges are VDO and i have to say that iam very happy with them and they are right on the money and the price isn't to bad i have rmp with shift light, boost, volts, water temp, oil temp, and fuel psi. i also heard that these gauges work the best on our cars.

I run them and like the quality/finish. However when comparing values from my H20 temp guage to a TurboLink the guage reads about 6-8 degrees higher.

I use electric guages which may contribute to the slight inaccuracy.

I use a full set of VDO guages in my GNX dash. They are electric which makes them a little less accurate than a mechanical guage but they get the job done.

thanks guys, i think i made my choice. I sell autometer at work, theyre pretty accurate, but its 1 in a million shot that you get a "none defective" most of them are junk as well as they're little fuel pressure guages that i have setup as my line pressure. Only other thing in Autometer i have is my hood mounted FP guage. That will probably brake too, or get stolen:p

thanks for your help guys, im buying with confidence ;)
