How bad is this?

I know it's not good if the shafts of a turbo have side to side play in them but, how bad is it really? Does it hurt 1/4mile performance a lot? I just found this out about my turbo and am deeply upset. Thanks.

as long as the turbo isnt smoking, and your able to get your desired boost level-- then there is no downside to performance-

maybe having a looser turbo makes it spool up better
