How do I ID a Modified ECM

What do I look for specifically to determine if a ecm has been modified? Does anyone have a pic of what to look for or can describe to me what to look for and where?

other than a sticker on the outside, you have to open it up.

look in the bottom end of the ECM, between the PCBs, along the side with the thick aluminum plate (heat sink), you will see extra parts added on, and supported by dabs of glue.

If you don't see this, then its not a modified ECM.
