so how do they look after 6 years it's running good for the most part , still has a slite bog and stutter / hesitation, but driveable at least. put 35 miles on it ,today , 10 by me and the rest by my 17 year old son, he has waited along time to drive it ( i was with him ) i have the boost lowered to 12psi untill i get higher octane.
in the last 6 years i drove maybe 30 miles as it ran like beyond crap. i changed maf 5 times, coil pac, plugs , wires , fuel filter, fuel reg, o2, injectors , chips, found a few vac leaks, hot wire , plenum gasket seamed to help alittle and i just changed the iac valve which seems to have been most of the problem. so today was a good day finaly as god knows i needed one.. i am still going to do a psi check thru the intercooler and hope i find a hidden vac leak so it will run the way i got it. incase you forgot my my rambbling this was to check out my scan #'s...................thanks

i have an adjustable wastgate on the te44, and i alway's thought stock was about 10 or 12..

Looks ok to me...but I am a newb. Does your scanmaster show an IAC #?

Also..I went through 4 maf's like you...I found one that the car really ran well with (a neighbors factory GN)...I have now tried 2x brand new MAF's from the parts store...both ran like garbage and lots of hesitation. I am convinced that the new aftermarket factory style MAF's just dont work well.

I just upgraded to an LS1 maf and it made a huge difference right away

I think low IAC numbers like your showing here mean that you still have a vacuum leak somewhere...normally they are in the 25-35 range.

I recently replaced every inch of vacuum line on my 87 as some of it was totally rotten. Also my plastic vacuum block on the throttle body was overtightened and cracked, and the bolts from my plenum to the manifold were loose which I am sure were contributing to the low IAC numbers I had.

I think you need to check more closely for vacuum leaks

Just cause I am new I get to ask the really dumb questions...you did use a translator with that LT1 MAF right?

Have you or anyone else ever turned the idle adjustment screw on the throttle body?
Does it still have the cap covering the screw?
