Just as the title says. How can I bypass the stock sloenoid?

TIA

if you have an external WG, the solenoid is not used.....shouldn't even be hooked up

ok......you just take a piece of vac hose and loop the compressor (on the turbo) and WG actuator....basically those connections now go thru the solenoid, via the "y" hose.....your boost will now be controlled by the WG actuator rod tension

if you have your chip modified, you can unplug the solenoid (electrics) and throw it away....if you unplug with a stock chip, you'll get a code and SES lite

Another way...

Instead of running the rubber hose to the solenoid port from the metering "Y", I just run it to a bleed valve to manually control boost. I leave the solenoid connected electrically to prevent the SES light, but it controls nothing.
