I am going to take the trannie oil pan down and need to know how to identify a GN valve body, what do i look for are there any marks or numbers that will tell me its an original GN valve body?

thanks in advance for any responses..

you mean BRF on the casing not the valve body

what can you see on the valve body itself that will identify it as an original GN valve body? anybody comon 30 views and 1 reply some board this is.. :(

What Vendor Defendor stated is correct. On the side of the valvebody there will be a paint stamp that says BR followed by a number. As well, there will be a pink/purple splash of paint.

If you do a search on this board, you will find that this has been asked and answered many many times and is probably the reason people don't want to reply. ;) Help those who help themselves....

sorry to say but the search does not work on this board it asnt worked for me at least for a month..or else i would have done it a while back..
