im getting an SMC kit for Christmas and was wondering how fast can i expect to go with my combo??? i have a PTE53, 55lb inj, Champion irons, port matched intake, Mark Jackson stretch, walbro 340, K&N, THDP, and tank full of 93 octane.

Thanks for info....

How brave are you? :D I run about 21 psi on my setup with pump gas and alky. In race trim about a year ago I ran my time in my sig with about 21-22 psi. I feel just as strong as I did then, I think 11's are definetly obtainable but I would still use good quality race fuel if I were at the track (safer!). I would like to get some times on my car with the alky and pump gas but I sure would kick myself if I popped a HG.

I would say that you could get close to mid 11s. I have a similar combo. PTE 54, V4, 55s, ported stockers with stanless valves. At a track rental I went 12.2 at 114 with a 2.05 60'. I have a 100 chip that is not quite right. I was running around 23-24 lbs of boost. If I could get a 1.7 60' that would translate to almost 1/2 second off the 1/4 mile and put me around 11.7 This was my first time at the track with the new combo so there is definately more in it.

Well, one guy reported 10.9s here and Hank Terry just reported 11.3-11.4s this week end with a stock cam and a TA49.

I would suggest you sort out your present combo and get it to run close to its potential before trying to push too far with the alky. You should be able to hit the 11's with it.

Probably a few tenths slower than race chip and race gas. My GN runs 11.80's with 91 octane, denatured alchy, 22 degree chip, and 24 psi boost. With your good heads and bigger turbo I think 11.50's or better should be easily obtained when fully tuned.

when i go to the track ill use C16 at all times but i mainly wondered how quick i can be on the street. 11's on the street would be awesome!!!

Well, you have the parts for a high ten second car so 11's on alky should not be hard if the car runs according to the parts. :)
