How fast do you think I can run with a race chip & race gas?

'86 T-type. T-62, full exhaust, intercooler neck, msd 45's (I think 45's, could be wrong), stock converter, locally ported head, 206/206 cam, kirban valve springs, stock converter.

Just bought the car, what do you guys think it can do with some race gas, a race chip, and slicks? It has gone 11's on slicks and pump gas before. I don't often see guys on this board with such a big turbo. The turbo I have is good for 10's, if I had some champion heads and a good front-mount, no?

I would think with race gas and 25 lbs of boost it could hit low 11's. Am I totally off? The stock intercooler holding it back? I probably need a converter too.

I've read that the stock IC with the neck is good to the 11's. I would suggest a converter, even my 51 doesn't like the stock converter. Your combo should be in the 11's if it's tuned, maybe low 12's because of the converter....
