How have your dealings been with this member?

A few months ago i contacted Intercooled88s (bob) about the parts thread he had posted we pmed back and fourth and i told him im an expedite truck driver and id prolly be able to come by and check out parts in person so i wouldnt have to pay shipping..He said it was cool and i told him id need a lil while to get my cash together..a few months goes by and i happen to get a trip from los angeles to Bangor Maine..I then dropped down to boston to get another trip this was on fri i contacted him via pm on here and told him i was in town and had $$$ he left me his cell # and said to call.. so i called and left two messages over the course of the weekend and left him a pm and have received no replys Im wondering if something happened to him or is this normal or?????????

About a 2 months ago i ordered 109 block from him PP add sent to me was incorrect. I Noticed unclaimed flag on PP transaction emailed Bob if block was still avail he never responded. I have ordered from him in the past with good results. This timei don't know

Hey,
I have dealt with Bob numerous times and he seems to be a pretty stand up guy. I have made several transactions with him totalling thousands of dollars. I think he checks his emails and PM's like once a day or sometime less and that is when he responds. He also mentioned to me on several occasions that his cellphone service and internet sometimes is questionable when he is at the "shop". Make a long story short that sometimes he takes a while to get back to you, but he is a very stand up guy wtih good items.

I just dont get y he would turn away money he knew in the pm that he responded to my ph # and intentions and that i was in town he told me he mad everything but the block which would take him a day to get also my cell was in the message too if he knew his cell was acting up wouldnt he at least call another way i would..instead of missing out on a decent sale i wasnt spendin chump change at least not to me...

I think he has recently had rotator cuff surgery, perhaps thats why he is slow responding..None the less..Pm,s and emails do take a while to get a response and he seems a bit stretched too thin. The stuff I purchased was good quality at a fair price,......but a part was left out of the box that I'm still waiting on, Hmm!!!..I think all and all he is a good guy and will make things right with me! My 0.02$

I bought a number of items from him as well. The only "complaint" I had was the shipping times, but, this was also in the dead of winter and there were several massive snowstorms up his way. I was anxious for the stuff to arrive, but I also understand the weather issues. I would not hesitate to buy from him again!

I've dealth with him both in person and through mail and paypal and he's been great. I'm sure he will do whatever is necessary to correct this.

You PM'd me on Friday and stated to call or e mail, I responded as you stated, on Sunday of this week. I PM'd SUNDAY: April 19th, 2009 01:41 PM(4 days ago), After traveling for a day and a half, "Sorry I didnt get back to you sooner, I was in NY picking up an engine and didnt get home until late last night. I have all the parts available for pick up except the block. I have a block but it wouldnt be ready for pick up today. If you wanted to pick up any of the other parts today my cell number is 41 3 563 881 9, my cell service shouldbe good. thanks Bob" I was available all day and you did not return my Pm or call on Sunday. Or Cell service may have been intermitten.

You responded to my Pm FROM Sunday on Yesterday, 08:31 AM (Wednesday, 3 days later),

"Hey holmes whats the deal? I called you and left a couple messages but didnt hear anything from you? I dont like bugging anyone but it would be nice to get the stuff while im out here so i dont have to pay for shipping..."

I never check voice mail as stated on my parts List(I get so many calls its not possible to respond to every phone call.) . I still have the parts if you need them. I had rotator cuff surgery recently so if its not on a shelf, I'm not selling it, even if I have it, but I have pretty much everything on the shelf anyway. This was obviously just a miscommunication. If you feel I was ignoring you, You can check your Pm's and see I did respond. I can still meet with you if you want, but not until Friday. I hope this will work with you if not Pm me and I will see what we can arange.
