hey guys, like every other TR out there i have a rear main leak and its about time to fix it. ive been putting it off because i think its going to be a huge pain in the ass.. so im asking you guys.. how long did it take to put in a neoprene rear main seal and if there were any quirks or hiccups along the way.. lemme know about those too. thanks guys.

Takes us about 24 hours! Actually we let it cure overnight before adding oil.

If the original seal has shrunk like most, it is rather easy to remove. About 3 hours actual work involved to R&R pan, clean up mess, let drain and install seal. For a TTA, figure additional time to half-way pull motor for pan removal.

I agree with Nick.. 3 hrs unless letting it sit overnight like I did..
