I wiped two cams and chewed up two sets of rod and crank bearings. Lots of metal in the engine/oil.

I hear and read about contaminated oil causing turbo bearing failure so what can I do now and how long would my turbo be expected to last?

With a partially spun bearing....my turbo went out after only 10 miles. It might have been bad already but showed no signs until after I drove the car a little wih the spun bearing.......I had to get home so I decided to push as far as it would go.

Failure

I think it's a bit late for the filter.... (but still a good idea)

I would at the very least pull it down and clean all the possible metal out of it real good, if it hasn't already gotten in the bearings or damaged the shaft it might be fine or may need new bearings.
