SignUp Now!9's. The manifold pressure required to get it done is more of a function of the engine build. How fast can these go on no more than 30 psi
Id bet the 6262 could go 9's with good fuel and a good engine build.I can see mid tens with heads an cam easily. That thing can go in the 9's. I can see a 6262 going low faster than 10.50.
With a 10:1 engine and good fuel and good heads in the mid 20's. Though boost doesn't really matter. Get the compressor to work where it's happy and control the exhaust pressure. A good wastegate strategy Is needed. High 9 sec passes should have 60' time in the high 1.30's. Gear, converter, lots of practice.Brian, with the correct engine build...how much boost...and how hard a launch to crack the 9's with the 6262?
3500-3600lbs. If lighter even faster thanweight reduction will be a key factor.
