I think I am going to have to make a new fan set up. How many CFM's is the factory fan? I need to search out an aftermarket unit that flows more. I do not think I can fit dual fans, but I may be able to fab up duals. I need to measure it out.

Thanks

You. Can always mount the dual fans in the front as pushers. Frees up some room.

Not sure of the cfm but these 2006 intrepid fans are slim , about 150 bux and cool things down quickly
might want to check this option out

as sleeper posted Taurus fan high output. Volvo fan is same but comes with controller/relay, then bmw dual temp switch dirt cheap in junkyard. do a search

If you want a serious fan that flows some serious cfms and can be made to look almost factory shoot me a PM and I'll send you some pics of what it looks like installed and which fan to buy.

This is a single fan not dual and it puts out more cfms than most dual fans. I got rid of the junk Gbody rad with dual fans and went back to a stock old POS rad with this fan and it cools better now.

Would anyone happen to know if the dual fans from a 04 vette would work? I have a set from when I installed a procharger and it's been sitting there. I've been thinking of installing them but don't know if it would be enough cfm??

with the front mount intercooler I had a custom radiator made and the did the job regardless of climate,very pricey.however sounds like rob has a way to get the temps down with a fan upgrade which sounds great.

I need to measure up the space, but I am thinking about the Spal 16" fan that flows 3000 cfm's. I may call the local yard and see about the other dual fan set ups and go measure them up. I like the 4000 cfm's from the Lincoln Mark VIII fan that was posted. I may have to look that up.

^^^That is what I'm using with a stock rad and it works great.^^^

I believe they move 4,500 cfm or something like that. It is the best thing I've run so far and I have a huge front mount to boot.

They can be had for less than 120 bucks new with a solenoid kit on flea bay.
Here is the auction;

Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing.

Mine came out of a 95 mark VIII and I believe all SN95 fans are the same from what I've read, but do your homework to make sure.

I used the caspers relay kit because it was plug and play and I got my fan for free from a friend but you can probably get one in the yards for less than fifty bucks.

I don't know how I feel about Gbody, I guess if he wasn't so confrontational when I got sent the wrong part and he wanted to argue about something totally unrelated in an open forum instead of being a professional buisness man and sending me a PM or even returning one of my calls things may have turned out different.;);)
