How many fins on a TA49 Compressor wheel

I've been told that a TA49 compressor wheel has 6 fins. Is this ALWAYS true?

I am going outside and pull my maf pipe off and count them just for u . I know my turbo is with out a doubt a TA49 . How many fins does yours have?

THANKS JACK!! I emailed Cotton and he said that there were many manufactures. He couldn't give me a number.

I counted 7 blades on my TA49.
It appears all "Original" TA49s came with 6 blades.

Looks like the rebuilt ones, being sold as new, can come with either 6 or 7 blades.
That's probably why Jack Cotton couldn't give you a number.
