How many have experianced OR drum weld failure in a 2004r?

This is the front drum right behind the pump that the input shaft goes thru and the big plastic colored washer rides against.
Anybody? Please post if you have. Builders?
I have found a way to make these real strong cheap and was wondering if it would be a desired piece. I have seen a few broken but I have heard alot more stories than I have ever seen. Anyway if you have seen this problem exist, please post.

We've not seen that drum fail here that I'm aware of. How does one manage to break that?
