How Many Zip Ties Are On Your TR??

Didnt expect to get this many replies! LOL. Funny, I didnt get any email notifications? Oh well. Yes, Zip Ties are my friend. I dont think I can work on my car or anybody elses w/o a decent supply of them. I too have them on every vacuum line on the cars, and of course on all the wires Ive run. I dont know about you guys, but I always make sure the little square end is "hidden", lol. You know what I mean? Makes it look much nicer........

I have a ton on my TTA..... but then again Im anal so any wiring I do has to look like artwork (I used to work in a car stereo shop too so we had to make wiring in leased cars look factory, i got used to doing it that way, and its actually MUCH easier to work with).

I must have hundreds of them on FUR. I think I probably have 100 of them alone holding the AN10 fuel line, AN8 return line as well as the trans vent and antifreeze bottle overflow lines that run to the back of the car. I use them on everything. I try to use the black ones but I'll use just about any color that gets the job done. I try to use the non-black ones under the car out of site but when the C16 is benching out of the pipes and you can barely keep the car cool, I'll use just about any color to get the car down the track...

heh-

funny stuff here- i took out a buddies PTE front mount last night, and temporarily put in place a stock intercooler-

since it was like 98 degrees yesterday, i dint want to bother with bolting up the intercooler brackets, so i put in longer bolts in the sides and used ZIP TIES to hold the intercooler inplace!!!!

if it wasnt for the zip ties, i would have spent another hour under the hood!!!

I think Rich from Rich's Custom Auto, Newman and I put about another 40 or so on Newman's car today. I think that brings the count up to about 300 "Rankin's" on the car and we're not even done the wiring!!

Newman's car is by far gonna lead the league in zip ties.....he will take the central Jersey title for zip ties for sure.

"The Central Jersey Zip Tie Title", does that encompass Middlesex and Monmouth counties as well as the municipalities of Kenilworth and Basking Ridge similar to the Central Jersey ET title?
