Im running 94 octane w a more or less stock GN.36lb inj,hot wired 255lph pump, cold air,no cat, perf exh,160 therm,165-170 running temp, all sensor's %100.Turbo Tweak Street chip.Im safe at like 12lbs,but as I approach 15lbs its getting 3-4 deg knock,& I can hear it rattle a slight bit.My Motor has been apart before,so its possible the block & or heads were cut down.So what do ya guys run on the street for boost?

Run as much boost as you can without any knock. That will be how much boost you can run with pump gas.

I run up to 10psi on 87 octane and upwards of 30 on 116.

And how well your heads/intake flow and what kind of turbo/intercooler setup you have.

I run 20 all day no problems on 93. Lots of timing no alky no knock . I dont know how, but it does. Goes real low 11's on just pump.

Your sig says you have a 70 turbo and rjc front mount - that's how. Do you really just have 36 lb/hr injectors? You need way more fuel to match your airflow.

With a stock turbo and stock intercooler and 94 octane and 18-20 deg of timing at wot, somewhere around 13-15 psi it going to be the limit for seeing zero knock retard and zero esc counts on a scan tool. If you can hear knock you are getting at least about 15 deg of retard which is way, way too much. Always tune for zero knock - you might get .1 quicker at the track with 1-3 deg of knock retard for a couple of seconds during a 1/4 mile pass but I like to be as safe as possible and letting it knock more than that usually slows you down.

ive run 20psi on 92 octane and no knock when my car was stock. it was tuned very well and it was a cold night.

Ya well, maybe 13ish is all im good for.I pulled a couple deg timing out in first-second gear,& kept high gear as is,I tried pulling timing out in high gear, car would nose over-so I put it back.
