How much can i get for the BQ tranny from my GN?

Well i finally got my new transmission installed. Im probably just gonna sell the stocker and was wondering how much i should ask for it. It has a big BQ on the tag and is the original 76k mile tranny from my 85 GN. Transmission is fine under easy driving but does flare on shifts under power and high boost. The price usually depends on how bad the tranny is wanted. The 86-87 BRF's are the pricey ones. I usually see $200-300 for the BQ trannies. I have also seen them for less than that. What did you replace the original with? I am looking for a BQ or BRF valve body to replace mine which has developed a "stacked shift" in it. If you have an idea what you want for it then shoot me an e-mail.

I replaced it with a built one from Monster Motorsports. Tranny seems great with VERY firm 1-2 shift and nice firm shifts the rest of the way. I didn end up buying a new TV cable before i could get the shift points right...guess mine had stretched or something because the new tranny shifted to early with it. I'll give you an email soon concerning the used one.
