Well i just decided to buy a new aftermarket tranny for my GN and may sell the stocker. How much should i ask for it? It does slip on the shift under power but is perfect when driving normally. What is it worth? Just shoot me some numbers.

Don't sell it!

Keep it. When you buy a new one most places will want it as a core. $500-600 if you don't have one to give them.

So to you it's worth 5 or 6 hundred.

Well as soon as my new one gets here (probably first couple weeks on january) i will have my original for sale. If anyone is interested let me know.

Why not have your original unit rebuilt? Get a Super Servo or a 200 servo,a CK shift kit,Alto band and find a local shop.I did this with my local tranny shop and got a warranty too.Trans has worked flawlessly and well worth the $1,000 I spent, installed too.

Because im completely brand new tranny with all heavy duty stuff (i mean ALL) for the company @ cost price. $900 ;)

Doesnt seem possible to get a price that low with a billet shaft forward clutch drum, billet input, revised planet, and the regular high po parts that are usually installed (clutches, shift kit, servo, various other small parts), and the labor to do it all.

I'd keep the stocker around until you are 100% satisfied with the new tranny.

Also it has the partial VIN on the side boss and is original to the car should yoiu wish to return it to stock someday and sell it with the car.

Something to consider.

I wouldn't get rid of a good stocker that could be rebuilt especially if it had the right VIN on it for your car.

Just my .02.
