Just bought a hard MAF pipe and a Tin man cold air intake from aggresive.

Silly question,..... but will I notice anything at all in the way of gains? (Wondering if the seat of my pants will let me know I've installed this stuff)

One thing I am hoping for is a bit louder turbo sound from under the hood.

i guess that will depend on what your setup was before.

Before spending the $ on one of those, I opted for the $20 black nylon hose and metal heater vent intake under the air dam(home depot speed shop).

i wish I could tell you results but the track is closed for the season...what I can tell you, aside from the cool noises it makes is that with the K+N I previously had under the hood, MAF readings on the scanmaster were choked, like 215 at WOT.

The cold air kit immediately brought those numbers up to around 235-240. More cool dense air to mix with fuel =more horsepower. It also makes managing the air /fuel much easier.

As far as seat of the pants results, it's hard to say....but I am definitely sold on the ram air idea....it clearly works.

Enjoy the whoosh....
Chris

The Tin Man kit isn't a ram air but it is cool.

I noticed improvement when I put mine one.

I can not say how much but my boost seemed to go higher quicker.

If nothing else..... the sound will turn lots of heads :-)
