How much timing @ idle?

How much timing are ya running @ idle? My car seems to like around 24* at idle just seeing what others like. Thanx & Happy new year!

Mine looks to be about 30-31* at idle 1200rpm

Thanx I tried around 30* backed it down to 24* and watched my A/F go way up - seemed to idle alot cleaner. Happy New Year!

The a/f went rich or lean with reduced timing?

The a/f went leaner which means the engine is burning more fuel and being less efficient correct?

Go to at least 34 and re-tune the VE table. It will be much happier. But make sure the timing in the system matches what you read on the balancer.
