I've got my PAC kit officially hooked up and am slowly working on cranking up the boost, I'm at 24lbs now with no knock whatsoever. My goal is 25-27 lb's and that's it (As if that's not alot!). My question is, I'm noticing a little hesitation and slight sputtering in the lower boost ranges as the alky comes in (around 10-12lb's). I'm assuming it's because I don't have an alky chip and I'm getting to much fuel at that point. It's not severe, but definitely noticable. I'm adjusting the boost with the stock wastegate and a manual boost controller I bought off of eBay (Doubt if that makes any difference, unless the sputtering could be related to the MBC??)
Also, once I get my boost set to, say 26 lb's, should I keep adjusting the adjustment knob back a little at a time until I get a hint of knock, then adjust it back up a "smidge"? I'm guessing that the least amount of alky I run without any knock is the best bet and might help out with the sputtering.
Any comments are appreciated
