.....87 Turbo T WE4?? This one I looked at today for sale was all black (including the bumpers) like the GN and had a digital dash and sunroof. If it's somewhat rare I may pass it up as I'd hate to modify something like that...plus the owner kept it completely stock. :)

VERY rare. Especially with those 2 options.. Im sure someone will give you an aproximate production number but Ill bet its very low.

The number that has been thrown around is 1547,but I find that hard to believe. Between me and a few local guys I count six.

Rare doesnt always mean valuable. I have a super rare car, a black 87 T with chrome trim. Supposed to be one of less than 300. I dont care, Id back half the damn thing if I wanted to. If its a clean car for good price buy it and do what you want with it. :)

Thanks for the replies guys...this one is very clean with just over 100k miles, and he wants 12k for it....decisions, decisions. :D

IMO if you are planning heavy mods i wouldnt drop 12 k on it. You can probably find a clean T for 6-8 K and invest the other ca$h in parts . Just my opinion though.

I think $12K is overpriced for that many miles. Keep negotiating the price. The WE4 is a great car and is always confused with the GN by the "untrained" general public. $12K could put you into a nice Limited. :D

I'd have to agree. seen showroom condition WE4's with half the mileage sell for around that much. Strictly opinion but 9k would probably be a fair price.

Well after much thought I decided to pass on it and look for another GN or Turbo T. I was gonna offer 10k but don't think he'd go for it. I appreciate y'alls inputs!

I am in Corpus Christi and I drove to Houston to get my 87 WE4. I paid $8000 for it and I am the third owner. It has all kinds of go fast parts to go 10s on race fuel. It also came with all the recepits for the parts. It also had a digital dash but no sunroof. The price is going to depend on what you are going to do with the car. Do what I did, it took me about 3 months to find the right one for the right price. Do you go to SAR drag strip? We are thinking of going here soon.

dont be affraid to offer the guy money- you never know. some people say 12K because they know somone will say 10K. when i sell a car i tack on extra money because somone always wants it cheaper :)

Yeah, I'm gonna have to be patient and find the right one. I'd like to have a low 11/high 10 second TR so we'll see. Haven't been to SAR yet, I'm fairly new in San Antonio. But I'm gonna take the wifey's 95 Z28 there soon.
