How should I pursue this GN?

It a 16 mile long island in the Eastern Carribbean, near St Martin.

Really beautiful place, but the roads are far too crappy to race on, so I could never possible LIVE there.

If you really want it, keep knocking, I guess being from NY I figure "What are they going to do?" If they know you are there they will see you keep on showing up look at the car, knock, wait, knock again, look at the car and leave. Obviously you mean no harm.

I would say: "Hi, I am ((so and so)) I live in ((blah-blah)). I was driving by and noticed the Buick, who's is it"

I used to live in Herndon and go to Manassas to watch trains, (also go to Cracker Barrell on I66) not much frieght action on LI.

I know you aren't going back but I wouldn't have brought my GN because they would know you knew what the car was all about. Plus if they did try to shoot you I wouldn't want bullet holes in the GN. But playing stupid and pretending you think it is a Monte Carlo is the best way to get it cheap.
