how small of a torque converter/stall can we have with still having lock up?And how big and heavy is the factory converter? what will be the pros and cons of going with a smaller size converter?

9.5 is the smallest lockup currently. Smaller converter is usually a higher stall. Stock converter is 12"and should stall 0 boost or vacuum around 1800. The higher stall will allow you to launch with more power and help you on shift recovery

9x11. Uses the smaller converter with the 11" lockup clutch. There is e.t. in a proper non lockup unit though.

Precision make the vigilante but as bison said the is some et in a proper nonlock unit. What are you trying to do? Why are you installing a stall converter right now?

whats an et ? kind of new to this. but the reason is bcus i want to get rid of that big clunky one in there!

You better get to reading what other mods have you done to the car? et is elapsed time typically in the 1/4 mile
