Hello everybody,
How does one choose a dry sump pump? how many stages? how wide of rotors?
my combo is not excessive, actually fairly stock, but will be subjected to some interesting angles during operation. (rock crawler) Thus, a dry sump will be the safest bet for a good supply of oil.
I was wanting to use a single stage, or even a dual stage rear axle pump, my figures was either of these pumps is probably 5 times the pump of the stock one. but are those enough?
do I need more scavange sections? is .800 wide dual stage enough? where do you find this info?
lots of questions... .... if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
