how to convert to ls1 maf

How do you convert our cars to ls1 maf?want to convert to 87 ecm then translater/maf ls1 but not sure!

It's actually very simple, you will need the translator and an LS1/LT1 MAF both can be found at any of the turbo buick sites like full throttle. The whole thing is plug and play with the 87 ecm and harness

Is the 87 harness needed for the ecm conversion, or will the ls1 maf work with a hot air harness?

The LS1 MAF will work with the stock harness. There's no need to change out the harness. The Translator is plug and play, one of the easiest mods I've done.
