Hello all,

my life is very full and I truly don't have time to deal with this crap so I am wondering if my fellow members can give me advice on how to deal with a member that I "bought" some parts from. I sent a Paypal payment July 14th ($190.00). Sent an e-mail July 22nd. Phone call Last night and today. No response, no parts.
I'm not trying to be a prick, I mean who knows maybe something bad has befallen him?

Thoughts/advice please.

Thanks alot

Ravi

I was just having this discussion last night with a fellow TB owner. Why on earth do folks have plenty of time to list and sell items but no time to ship? I just had a very positive experience on some bicycle parts from a guy I never met on a bicycle board. He had plenty of posts and seemed helpful in general so I had a positive belief it would be ok. Sent money Monday, parts shipped Wednesday and got an email from him on each leg of the process.

You've been waiting 10 days. I'd wait until the 14th day and if no reply, then file a Paypal dispute and continue attempting to contact him. There is not much more you can do other than show up at his door.

its sad to see this coming more and more.. I sell "stuff" to BUT when I get your $$ it goes out that day.. I have to because I forget everything after a few hours  hope ya solve this quick !!

Ravi,

always be leary of someone selling stuff with 4 total post's. Try asking the other guys who responded to his add if they got thier stuff.

Sorry to hear about it

Well at least you havent been screwed by a vendor yet!!! Seems to me just about everyone ive got work done on my car , or buy high dollar parts from has screwed me!! No one has backed up there warrenty!!! Im to the point that im going to build a 4.1 so i can get the knowledge of building my own car. Put it like this 4turbo's-3engine rebuilds-and 6 trans rebuilds $20,000 later, and im now back doing this car again. Im at the point of going and find them all, and commit a felony!
