Np, glad you could wake up after a 3 year hiatus If you hadn't have told me about yours being replaced this way I would have not thought to use a steel cable.

I gave up on the power antenna in the GN 20 yrs ago and have had a black solid mast since but I might try this. I still have the original antenna with the broken plastic cable.
