how to mod a 3 1/2" thdp to work w/atr headers?

just wondering what i need to do to the dp to get it to work with my atrs

Sometimes nothing, depending on which version THDP you have. If it is not for the ATR headers, then you will need to cut the down pipe and install a mandrel bent kick-out to clear the cross-over. It'll require welding and cutting of the existing down pipe. Not a 5 minute job, and it does take some skill level to get it right. You might just want to purchase a new down pipe and sell the one you have. Unless you are running 10 teens or faster, there is no gain in going ATR headers. Lots of guys have run in the 9's with stockers. Just food for thought.

i know,but i am planning to run somewhere around there...i had bought the headers then the dp without thinking about it...i have a set of poston headers on it now....the dp it jethot coated and prolly don't want to start cutting it, i thought i might be able to dent it alittle to get it to work..but i guess not... i guess i'll look into getting a new dp....thanks...joel
