Is there a procedure somewhere? Can someone give me a run down start to finish what to do, what tools necessary, etc. Any problems I will run into.
Thanks much,
Glen

Open the outlet to the same diameter as the donut gasket.

Blend shortside radius into the outlet hole.

Remove any overlap between turbine housing outlet and elbow.

lower dam between wastegate area and outlet hole of elbow.

Smooth and then polish inside of elbow.

lap mateface flat to seal good with turbine housing.

When you are done, a 2.5" diameter ball should pass freely through the elbow.

The best tool to use is a double cut carbide burr. then use sandpaper rolls/flappers to polish.

Is there anyone who does this cheap?:D I don't think we have the tools to do that here.

Turbo will spool better, car will be faster. Its hard to quantify because evey car is different. In my testing, The ported elbow/2.5" stock replacement downpipe was within .05 seconds and 1.5 mph of a THDP into the high 11's.

I know TurboMike did these before, you might want to talk to him. If anyone knows turbos, he's one of them!
