how to search for a post

I'v looked all over and all I could find was searching for a post by member name. How do I search for changing the signal light lever with cruise, if that matters?

Also I find the background very black, which is the idea behind the site, however my old eyes are hard to focus with the grey on black. Thanks, Henry.

The new color scheme is a pain. The search box is on the upper right below the inbox and alert boxes. When you start to type a box will drop down and give you the option to add a username.

On my screen it is on the upper right, in case his is like mine.
