Here's what I'm gonna do.

Resize the 4th cl. feed to .085 roughly.
Slightly softer spring in the accum. valve.
The 4th accum. piston has a fairly soft spring on it now.

Should know tomorrow.

Sometimes too soft a spring will bottom out and cause a harsher shift. The factory accumulator spring in the vb is not adequate for a TR. It causes problems with pressures when approaching higher throttle angles.

I don't know if that's the deal or not, but the shift is too firm even @ light throttle. I figure by reducing the feed it will soften it a bit too. Just trying a few things, hopefully getting smarter.
1 horse town here can't even find a filter, ordered 2 from one place & got lost in transit my filter & a couple other orders.

Ok, it might be a little softer, but still to hard IMO. The dash still rattles when it shifts. Bison you're prob. right on too soft of an accum. spring.

I think you nailed it Bison, I put in the Ck kit & it has a real heavy 3-4 accm. spring & it's a lot better. I cheated a bit though I sized the hole from .110 to about .090.
